Local analysis stays on your computer ⓘ

None of the SD card contents — audio, accelerometer, GPS, status logs, anything — is sent to a server. Files are read directly off the card by your browser; parsing, stitching, playback, gain, and the bundle/download builders all run locally in this tab. The page works offline once it's loaded. The only outbound network call is a timezone lookup from the first GPS coordinate, which sends just the lat/lon to timeapi.io and nothing else.

This viewer is under active development. Timestamps, fragmentation, the synced bundle, the boost/declick filters, and the accelerometer unit conversion can all be wrong in edge cases we haven't seen yet. If anything looks off — or you'd like a feature added — please tell the team via support so we can fix it. Including the device ID and the rough time of the recording you were looking at makes diagnosis much faster.

ⓘ About this list — grouping, audio gain, click noise

Sessions grouped by local date (from the GPS-inferred timezone). Multi-file sessions get a 2 parts · schedule style badge — playback and download stitch them together transparently.

Audio recordings are read as WAV or FLAC (the collar's lossless codec; the row says FLAC). A FLAC is decoded in your browser for playback, spectrograms and analysis, and every download is written as a plain WAV. A recording cut short by a power loss keeps everything up to the cut.

The Magnetometer tab lists the collar's 1–16 Hz magnetometer streams (magnetometer/…/<time>.wav, raw counts in the chip's axes, timed by their .anc.csv sidecars). A reading the collar could not take is a gap, never a value. Where a calibration on the card matches the stream, the preview and the CSV downloads add µT, the field strength and a heading; the aligned CSV puts the accelerometer frame at each reading's time beside it.

▶ Play and Boosted downloads apply 22× volume (+27 dB) with a soft limiter so faint sounds are audible. ↓ WAV is the unmodified firmware audio.

Periodic clicks: short regularly-spaced impulses you may see in waveforms are SD-card writes pulling on the mic preamp rail — not biological events. A short-window median filter (1–3 samples) removes them.
